Funny 2006 Easter Story

After we hid the Easter Eggs for Tavy, James and Scott. Tavy shouted... I want to hide the eggs. I asked her who was going to find them if she hid them. Of course, Tommy, Margie and I (Tammy) were nominated. We were so up to the challenge. Tavy, James and Scott all hid the eggs with a Grandma's supervision. Lets just say those booger bears can hide eggs WELL. I can't believe how hard it was to find some of them. OF COURSE, I won with the most eggs. (AND since I am telling the story... no one else can contradict. hehe) We were totaling up the eggs in all three of our baskets and we were short. Grandma didn't know were else to check.. she thought we found them all. So much for Grandma's help. I noticed Scott (the youngest) going to hiding spots and he found the remainder of the eggs. First I was amazed. There would have been no way for us to find those eggs. I would have never looked in those spots. Also, his memory was AMAZING. I couldn't belive it. Just goes to show you how smart these kidos are AND how forgetful I am.

We had a great time hunting the eggs. It was a wonderful suggestion from Tavy. We will have to do it again next year... AND I will win again!

Hard Work

Well the past couple of weekends we have been working in our yard. Tom has done more than I have but I did help with the flower beds. In addition to the flower beds in the pictures below we did make a small flower bed around the Crape Myrtle. Lots of work but I like the results! (I love my new hibiscus plant!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

We re-did the front flower bed.... Posted by Picasa

ANNOUCEMENT: We have a new neice - Little Miss Madison

Tom and I drove to Galveston early Saturday morning so we could see Ms. Madison and Judi before I left on the trip to London. I did get to see her briefly. She was such a cutie pie with a dark head of hair. The doctors were making their rounds so I didn't get to see her to long or take a picture. Trust me the next time I see her, there will be pictures posted here.

{Hopefully I spelled Madison right. I am sure momma and poppa will correct me if I am wrong.}

London in General

Hi, all.

My trip has been very enjoyable. The first couple of days there was no rain and it wasn't to cold. Today is the coldest day in March for the past 5 yrs. Let me tell you... It is darn cold. I picked up something to eat on the way back to the hotel and the thought of going back out does not sound pleasent to me at ALL. I am such a Texas girl. LOL!

I took the following pictures in around 2 hrs on Sunday. I actually took more that what I posted here but you guys know how I am will my camera.

I went walking Monday night (I will definitely be in better shape after this trip) and happen to find the foot bridge. I walked a little ways over the Thames River and looked out onto Big Ben. It was dusk so I could see Big Ben clearly but the face was illuminated. Very Pretty. I wish I had my camera but I didn't feel comfortable walking around with this huge camera by myself in the evening.

I haven't had a chance since Monday evening to walk around. Either it was way to cold or I felt like I had work to do.

London is a nice city and I hope some day Tom and I can come back here for a vacation.

Poor Thomas has been stuck in Houston with a ton of work at the plant and has to deal with the kiddos (dogs). {Thank you Thomas!}

Now, I better get a few more things prepare for tomorrow's work day.
